As a Miami native and the daughter of Cuban immigrants, my upbringing has molded me into a community conscious individual. My parents dedicated their lives to public service in Miami-Dade County, and their commitment to fostering a safe and engaged community has shaped how I professionally serve others. I am a mom to two beautiful children, a wife, and when the sun sets a mystery novel bookworm. Though I wear many hats, my dedication to the law and my community is an integral part of who I am.
Professionally, I have appeared in many County and Circuit Courts throughout the State of Florida. Since firms trust me to litigate on their behalf, I have deepened my legal knowledge while gathering actionable tools and procedures that I intend to implement in my courtroom. The jurisdictional increase has created a backlog in our County Courts, and now more than ever, we need jurists with knowledge of how to manage and administer their caseload. Due process is integral to my professional beliefs as providing access to the courts to the public at large is a right we must vigilantly protect.
